Beyond Binary Beauty: Elevating Transgender Care in Medical Aesthetics

This comprehensive session addresses the unique aesthetic needs of male-to-female (MTF) transgender patients in the medical spa setting. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of facial feminization techniques, body contouring procedures, and strategies for creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for transgender clients. The course will feature a live demonstration of feminization treatments on a model, providing students with a practical, hands-on learning experience. By the end of this course, participants will be able to understand the specific aesthetic goals and challenges faced by MTF transgender individuals, master advanced facial feminization techniques using injectables and other non-surgical methods, develop proficiency in body contouring procedures tailored to MTF patients, implement best practices for creating an inclusive and supportive environment for transgender clients, recognize and address the psychological aspects of aesthetic treatments for transgender individuals, and apply ethical considerations and informed consent practices specific to transgender care.
